Born in Connecticut, raised on Amelia Island and now happily rooted in Princeton, I’ve been fortunate to experience a wide range of cultural landscapes that have influenced my design perspective.

As the son of a contractor, I grew up immersed in the world of building and developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and detail. After pursuing my degree in Interior Design, I was fortunate to work under the tutelage of an award-winning designer where I honed my design sensibilities even further.

Today, as the founder and principal of Tyler Joseph Design Group, I draw on my classical design foundation while embracing the needs of modern living. My goal is to create interiors that feel inviting, comfortable, and timeless — spaces that not only reflect my clients’ stories, but also enhance the way they live every day. I truly believe in the transformative power of design, and it’s a joy to bring that vision to life.

In addition to my design practice, I serve as an adjunct professor of interior design. My continued connection to higher education keeps me sharp, inspired, and attuned to what’s evolving in our industry.

When I’m not designing or teaching, you can usually find me on the tennis court, deep in a renovation project at my own home, browsing antique shops for hidden treasures, or out on a trail with my dogs, Daisy and Peyton.
